فرقة “أراجيد”
بقيادة فرح المصرى
تقدم فرقة “أراجيد” بقيادة الفنان فرح المصرى مجموعة من أغانى المأثور الموسيقى الشعبى النوبى القديم. تعنى كلمة أراجيد بلغة الفاجيكا النوبيين الفرحة والبهجة، وهى مرتبطة لذلك بأغانى الأعراس والاحتفالات والأعياد.
تعتمد الفرقة على الأداء الجماعى وعلى تفاعل المؤدى مع المتلقى بالغناء والتصفيق والحركة الراقصة. وتستخدم بشكل رئيسى آلة الطار (الدف) والمقامات الموسيقية الخماسية.
النوبة هى البوابة الرئيسية للبعد الافريقى جنوب وادى النيل، والجسر الذى يصل الشمال بالجنوب، لذلك تعكس “أراجيد” هذا المزيج الفريد من الملامح الفنية الموسيقية المصرية المتنوعة والثرية. كما أنها تعد الفرقة الوحيدة التى تقدم هذا النوع الفنى الأصيل والمهدد بالانقراض أمام ظواهر العولمة الموسيقية وسيادة الأغنية الخفيفة.

Aragid Ensemble
Led by Farah Al Masri, “Aragid” ensemble performs a collection of traditional Nubian songs. The word Aragid in the Nubian language Fajikka means joy and happiness and is therefore linked to the songs of weddings, celebrations, and holidays. The ensemble relies on the performer’s interaction with the audience by singing, clapping, and dancing.
Nubian music is further distinguished from other Egyptian music genres by its use of the pentatonic scale and particular and characteristic rhythms.
Nubia is the main gateway to the African part south of the Nile valley and the bridge connecting the north to the south, so, “Aragid” reflects this unique mix of rich and diverse Egyptian musical features. It is also the only music ensemble to offer this unique and authentic music genre endangered by musical globalization and the dominance of light songs.
